started candlemaking

I took a candle class to learn how to make candles with soy wax and also to meet new people! (Let's just say, I didn't meet anyone lol).

Flores Lane Debuted

Flores Lane candles were first created with mason jars, hand-tied suede bows, and hand-written scent tags. They were only sold on etsy or at the melrose trading post.

Flores Lane Re-Brand

Very early on we realized that our candles were selling because of the quality and throw of the scent. We rebranded and began using  black and white jars and recreated city vibes through scent. We Debuted our original Los Angeles collection with 6 candles: WEHO, DTLA, Malibu, Venice, Silverlake, and Beverly Hills.

Created NYC Collection with Urban Outfitters

We created and debuted our NYC collection with Urban Outfitters on the East Coast. Our New York City line consists of the following scents: Upper West Side, LES, Chelsea, Astoria, SOHO, Williamsburg, and now Sag Harbor!

Los Angeles Mag Feature

Los Angeles Magazine named Flores Lane among the top emerging local brands to watch. It was pretty cool to be even considered.

Grammy Gift Bags

We (and our NYC candles) were asked to be a part of the Grammy Gift Bag when the awards took place in New York City for the first time in 25 years. Each performer, presenter, nominee, and winner got a Flores Lane candle to take home and enjoy.

We made the cover of Where Women Create! SO COOL and such an honor! We also have a spread inside the magazine - make sure you check it out!

Forbes Feature

Forbes included us in their Holiday Gift Guide 2018: Gifts For The California Dreamer. It was totally tubular.

The New York Times Feature

The New York Times included our Heart Chakra candle in their list of 8 Wellness Products to add to Your Bridal Survival Kit. We're here to help you keep calm when the wedding stress hits, ladies!
