Candlemaking Supplies

We're taking over @TheSillLA & teaching a LIVE candlemaking class with our friend Mel Ronnie Friday May 8 at 8 PM PST!

Here are the supplies you'll need to follow along at home:
Vessel: Mason jars, mugs, tea cups.
Wax: We use 100% soy wax. Beeswax is another good option.
Wicks: We use wicks made of all natural cotton fiber & beeswax coating with an aluminum metal base. Use this handy wick guide to find the correct size wick for your vessel. We use glue dots and wick sticks to keep the wicks in place.
Oils: Essential oils + a carrier oil (we use grapeseed). You can also buy fragrance oils online, which are pre-blended & ready for candlemaking.
Pitcher: We highly recommend using a pitcher for safety.
Optional
Mixing: We use these grill skewers.
Hot plate: We use a hot plate, but you can optionally do the double boil method at home if you don't have one. We will not be showing how to double boil in the class though so please melt your wax beforehand - here's a nice guide to double boiling to melt wax.

We hope to see you there!
