Good Enough Soy Candle, Slow Burn Candle

Based on D.W. Winnicott’s  theory of the “good enough” mother (caretaker applies as well) Accepting our own limitations as well as the limitations of others can be a painful and difficult experience. It’s also a very human experience. Often there are  dynamics out of awareness impacting these interactions.

@drjasonchilds explains this very well. “This is such an important thought in psychoanalysis. What is made me think of was the idea of the good enough mother, who also needs to be bad enough, frustrating enough, disappointing enough— that the child goes looking for satisfaction elsewhere and therefore develops.”

Being disappointed and also disappointing someone are not mutually exclusive and could be an important experience to unpack- especially if it’s a repetitive theme that doesn’t get worked through in relationships.

To help navigate the very human experience, we've blended calming chamomile with anxiety rescue clary sage with finishing notes of atlas cedar.

Our blend of essential oils, soy wax, comes in a recycled white glass jar. Our soy, slow burn candles are hand poured in West Hollywood.
